DAY 01 - WEDNESDAY: ENBOARD PALACE ON WHEELS - DELHI

On the 1st day you board the Palace on Wheels at 1745 hours. Dinner is served to you on the Palace on Wheels and you spend the night aboard the train.

DAY 02 - THURSDAY: ARRIVE JAIPUR- 0000 HRS

On the day 02 you will arrive at the Jaipur railway station and here you will be welcomed into the Pink City by caparisoned elephants and local musicians playing the shehnai. You lunch at the Rambagh Palace heritage hotel. The itinerary then includes a tour of the pink city and that would include a trip to the most popular tourist destinations in this rustic city such as the Hawa Mahal, the Amber Fort and the Nahargarh fort. You board the Palace on Wheels and leave for Jaisalmer at 0615 hours.

DAY 03 - FRIDAY: ARRIVE JAISALMER - 0615 HRS

You arrive at the 12th century city of Jaisalmer on the 3rd day of the 'Palace on Wheels tour'. Here the itinerary includes a visit to tourist destinations such as the sandstone fort of 99 bastions, the palaces, mansions and havelis with their facades, cupolas. You can also go on camel safaris to the desert and dine in the open air and enjoy the folk music played by the local musicians. You board the palace on Wheels and the train departs at 2300 hours.

DAY 04 - SATURDAY: ARRIVE JODHPUR - 0800 HRS

On the 4th day you visit the city of Jodhpur that was founded in the 15th century. The itinerary includes a trip to the Mehrangarh fort and the Jaswant Thada; both of these are important tourist destinations in Jodhpur. You lunch at the Umaid Bhawan Palace heritage hotel. A wing of this heritage hotel is still occupied by the royal family. You board the Palace on Wheels and the train leaves for Sawai Madhopur at 1530 hours.

DAY 05 - SUNDAY: ARRIVE SAWAI MADHOPUR - 0400 HRS

On the 5th day the Palace on Wheels arrives at the city of Sawai Madhopur. The itinerary includes a trip to the 10th century Ranthambore fort and the Ranthambore National Park, a Project tiger reserve. You board the Palace on Wheels and depart for Chittaurgarh at 1100 hours.

Day 05 - SUNDAY: ARRIVE CHITTAURGARH - 1530 HRS

You arrive at Chittaurgarh at 1530 hours. The itinerary includes a sightseeing tour of this legendary city that abounds with tales of wars and Rajput honor and valor. You board the Palace on Wheels and depart at 2230 hours.

DAY 06 - MONDAY: ARRIVE UDAIPUR- 1530 HRS

On the 6th day you arrive at the city of Udaipur that is also known as the city of lakes. The itinerary includes a trip to tourist destinations such as the palaces, ornamental gardens, forts and temples of Udaipur. After the sightseeing tour you lunch at the Lake Palace heritage hotel that is situated right in the middle of the Lake Pichola. You board the Palace on Wheels and depart for Bharatpur at 2000 hours.

ARRIVE BHARATPUR - 0600 HRS.

On the 6th day the itinerary includes a visit to the Keoladeo Ghana National Park at Bharatpur. This national park was the wildlife preserve of the Maharaja of Bharatpur at one point of time. Now this wildlife sanctuary has been declared as a world heritage site. This bird sanctuary is home to about 300 species of birds.

DAY 07 - TUESDAY: ARRIVE AGRA

On the 7th day the itinerary includes a visit to the Fatehpur Sikri in Agra. You lunch at the Mughal Sheraton hotel in Agra and then go on a sightseeing tour to the Taj Mahal that is one of the seven wonders in the world. You board the Palace on Wheels and depart for Delhi at 2300 hours.

DAY 08 - WEDNESDAY: ARRIVE DELHI

On the 8th day you are served breakfast on board the Palace on Wheels and you finally arrive at the Delhi Cantonment Railway Station at 0600 hours.
